MR 1210 – Special Insurance Cover: Delay in Start-up Following Marine Cargo

SPECIAL INSURANCE COVER: DELAY IN START-UP FOLLOWING MARINE CARGO #

This endorsement forms part of section 3 and is subject otherwise to the terms, provisions, conditions and exclusions contained in the policy of insurance or endorsed thereon.

1. Indemnification
   1.1. The insurer shall indemnify the insured for a loss of the interest insured unless specifically excluded if at any time during the period of insurance the property insured under section 4 suffers loss or damage indemnifiable under section 4 or which would have been indemnifiable under section 4 but for the application of a deductible thereby causing an interference in the construction, erection or testing schedule resulting in a delay in start-up of the business insured.

   1.2. In clause 3.3 under “Period of insurance”, and in clauses 7.1.1., 7.1.3, 7.1.4. and 7.1.6. under “Exclusions to section 3”, the term “section 1a” shall be amended to read “section 1a and section 4”.
