Computer Related Malfunction Exclusion

COMPUTER-RELATED MALFUNCTION EXCLUSION (PROPERTY) #

It is hereby agreed that this insurance does not cover any loss and/or destruction and/or damage and/or cost or expense directly or indirectly caused by, consisting of, arising from and/or relating to the failure and/or breakdown and/or malfunction and/or miscalculation of any:

1. computer hardware i.e. electronic data processing equipment and all components thereof including but not limited to hard disks, integrated circuits, circuit boards and/or central processing units,
2. computer network including but not limited to servers, connecting devices, bridges and/or routers,
3. computer operating system and/or software and/or program,
4. electronic process control system and/or software and/or program,
5. electronic process control system and/or electronically controlled equipment including but not limited to microprocessors, micro controllers and/or real-time clock-chips,
6. computer media and/or loading/storage device including but not limited to CD Rooms, tapes, floppy disks and or hard disks,
7. information and/or data and/or records which may be stored on and/or manipulated by any of the above
8. operation performed upon any of the above including but not limited to design, inspection, installation, maintenance, repair, remedial, and/or corrective measures,
9. service and/or product and/or process which relies upon any of the above,

whether the property of the insured or not
