MR 1241 – Special Exclusion: Defective Part Only Exclusion

SPECIAL EXCLUSION: DEFECTIVE PART ONLY EXCLUSION #

This endorsement forms part of section 1a
and is subject otherwise to the terms, provisions, conditions and exclusions contained in the policy of insurance or endorsed thereon.

1. Exclusion

1.1. Clause 9.1. under “Exclusions to section 1a” shall be deleted and replaced by the following wordingshall be replaced by the following wording:

“9.1. any costs rendered necessary to replace, repair or rectify any property which is defective as a result of any fault, defect, error or omission in design, plan or specification, material or workmanship, but this exclusion shall be limited to the parts immediately effected by such defects and shall not extend to liability for loss or damage to parts of the property insured lost or damaged as a consequence thereof.
